TMP451HQDQFRQ1 is an AEC-Q100 Grade 1 digital temperature sensor with one local channel, one remote-junction channel, a 1.7 V to 3.6 V supply, 0.0625°C resolution, and an I2C/SMBus-compatible interface.

The TMP451HQDQFRQ1 from Texas Instruments combines a local temperature sensor and a remote-junction monitor in one 8-pin WSON package. The remote channel can measure a discrete NPN or PNP transistor, or a thermal transistor or diode integrated into a processor, MCU, FPGA, or ASIC.

The device converts both channels to 12-bit digital temperature data. Series-resistance cancellation, programmable eta-factor correction, offset correction, a programmable digital filter, temperature limits, ALERT/THERM outputs, and diode-fault detection support robust automotive thermal monitoring.
